Tupperware Fundraiser with Healthy Breakfast Theme

Expert AuthorTupperware fundraisers have been proven successful by many schools, community sports teams, and non-profit organizations. One way to capitalize on that success is to give your Tupperware fundraiser a theme. We like the healthy breakfast theme.

It has often been stated that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It has also been shown that whole grain cereals are a great breakfast food. A Tupperware fundraiser can capitalize on these facts with a healthy breakfast theme. Instruct your sales force that all Tupperware is available, but that you want especially to show prospective customers the advantages of Tupperware for cereal.

Tupperware Cereal Storer

Begin Tupperware fundraiser presentations with the Tupperware cereal storer. This piece is specially designed to keep cereal fresh, crisp, and safe from pantry pests. Tupperware cereal storers are clear, so you can see at a glance how much cereal remains. They seal virtually airtight, so cereal never gets stale before you finish the box. You also avoid cereal “dust” and messy boxes in your cupboard. Your Tupperware fundraisers should point out that the spout makes it easy to dispense cereal without spilling. Tupperware fundraisers can inject a little humor by pointing out that the “prize” from the cereal box can be gotten easily when the cereal is poured into the cereal storer.

Tupperware Cereal Bowls

A second breakfast-themed product for your Tupperware fundraiser is the Tupperware cereal bowl. These classic bowls seal airtight. The Tupperware fundraiser can point out that families who are rushed in the morning can fill each family member’s bowl at night, seal them, and set the table. In the morning, the cereal is fresh and ready to eat.

Tupperware fundraisers should also note that Tupperware cereal bowls are microwaveable. They can be used for hot oatmeal (porridge) or other microwave meals.

Tupperware Classic Sheer Pitcher

Fruit juice is another part of a healthy breakfast, and your Tupperware fundraisers can take orders for this pitcher to hold that juice. Store the juice in the pitcher, and pour easily. No messy drips.

Tupperware 4 Ounce Bell Tumblers

Many people want only 4 ounces of fruit juice in the morning, and these tumblers are just right. They make a colorful presentation for your Tupperware fundraiser as well. For toddlers who are learning to drink from a cup, attach virtually liquid-tight “sipper seals” to avoid spills.

Other Tupperware Breakfast Helpers

Finally, instruct your Tupperware fundraisers to point out that other breakfast foods can all be stored safely in Tupperware, keeping them fresh for healthy breakfasts. Sugar, coffee, tea - Tupperware products available through your Tupperware fundraiser can coordinate your Storage.

Tupperware - What Is It?

Expert AuthorAsk someone what Tupperware is, and they will probably answer quickly if they are of a certain generation. Many adults define Tupperware simply as plastic dishes with lids that “burp” to keep out air. That is not an adequate definition, however, as the market has been flooded with plastic dishes that have lids. Who knows whether they “burp” or not? Who knows whether they are real Tupperware?

Define Tupperware

Tupperware is a brand name used for a line of plastic products used mainly for the preparation, Storage, and serving of food and beverages. It features airtight lids that “burp” out excess air to keep food fresh and healthy.

Creation of Tupperware

Tupperware was created in the United States in 1945 by a DuPont chemist, Earl Silas Tupper (1907-1983). Using Polyethylene, a new plastic that was formulated during the just-ended World War II, Tupper created a bathroom drinking glass that would not shatter when dropped. He made the tumbler available in a rainbow of colors, which quickly became popular.

Development of Tupperware

With his Polyethylene tumblers well accepted, Tupper realized that the attractive, durable, and very pliable synthetic polymer was exactly right for an array of kitchen and home Storage products.

Tupper moved on to create bowls of the same material, with the now-famous lids that “burp” to make them airtight and virtually liquid-tight.

More Tupperware Products

Over the next years, Mr. Tupper continued to add new products to his Tupperware line. When he retired, others took up the work, and more Tupperware products were developed.

Today (2007), Tupperware offers the following 7 lines of products, each guaranteed for life. Names of the lines vary in some of the nearly 100 countries where Tupperware is sold.

1. FlatOut! (US), Go Flex! (AU), MiniMax (UK, DE): These bowls fold like accordions for flat Storage, and expand as needed.

2. FridgeSmart (US, UK, AU), PrimaKlima (DE): Modular containers to keep refrigerated fruits and vegetables fresh and healthy, these Tupperware containers have unique air control vents.

3. Modular Mates (US, AU), Kompakt-System (DE), Space Savers (UK): These Tupperware containers are oval and rectangular in shape. They stack to save space. Their air-tight seals protect food from getting stale or drawing pests.

4. OvenWorks (US, AU), UltraPlus (UK, DE): Amazingly, these plastic containers can be used in either a microwave or conventional oven.

5. Rock ‘N Serve (US, AU), CrystalPlus (UK): Microwaveable, and with a special vent to avoid splatters, these Tupperware containers go from freezer to microwave to table.

6. Sheerly Elegant (US), Eleganzia (UK, DE), Illusions (AU): This line of Tupperware consists of stylish, sheer serving pieces.

7. Stuffables (US, UK), Bungee (DE): Tupperware Refrigerator Storage, these containers have flexible lids that allow you to over “stuff” the bowls.

Interesting Note

Before he developed Tupperware, Mr. Tupper had held many and varied jobs. He worked as a mail clerk for a time, and on a railroad labor crew. An entrepreneur, he ran his own successful landscaping and nursery business after that. Finally, he founded an industrial plastics company, and spent a number of years developing a wide range of inventive ideas, including Tupperware.

Earl Tupper’s Tupperware company became so successful that he was able to sell it in 1958, just 13 years after creating the product, for approximately 16 million dollars. He retired and lived very comfortably for 25 years more.

Tupperware - New Ideas

Expert AuthorTupperware itself is no longer considered a new idea, though it was within the lifetime of many people. Tupperware’s amazing airtight lids are now called seals. The bowls are still pastel shades, with different names.

Tupperware Ice Prisms bowls, however, are the realization of a new idea. Tupperware Ice Prisms look like crystal, but they are durable Tupperware bowls.

Tupperware Ice Prisms come with the virtually airtight and liquid-tight seals we expect from this company. You can store food in them at either room or Refrigerator temperatures.

With the new Tupperware Ice Prisms line of bowls, you get sophistication. You get elegance. You get a set of serving bowls that will go gracefully to many occasions.

The new Tupperware Ice Prisms line has light-refracting properties that catch the light just as crystal does. Ribbon-like details in the crystal clear bowls help make them complementary to both traditional and contemporary decors. The ice white seals are unobtrusive.

Tupperware Ice Prisms bowls are so beautiful, you would think they would break in an instant, but they are virtually unbreakable, according to the company.

Wedding Gifts

A wedding gift of Tupperware Ice Prisms bowls will be beautiful and practical for a new couple. A full gift set contains the following.

* 4 small bowls - 2 cup size
* 1 medium bowl - 8 cup size
* 1 large bowl - 14.5 cup size

Each bowl has its own white, guaranteed seal.

You can expand your wedding gift by adding to the Tupperware Ice Prisms set some or all of the pieces from the Sheerly Elegant line. Sheerly Elegant is a line of Tupperware pitcher and tumblers in contemporary styling. They are, as the name implies, clear. A colored accent at the bottom of each gives style.

Housewarming Gifts

A new neighbor will feel welcome if he or she receives a housewarming gift of Tupperware Ice Prisms. Neighbors often have a housewarming party, and this would be an elegant gift.

Real Estate Gift

If you are a realtor, you know that a housewarming gift is good for business. Instead of a plant that may die, you might give Tupperware Ice Prisms bowls. Better yet, fill a large Tupperware Ice Prisms bowl with baked goods. The airtight seal will keep them fresh and ready for your happy homebuyer.
