Earn Extra Income As a Tupperware Dealer

Expert AuthorEarn extra income? Count me in! The question is, do you want to earn extra income as a Tupperware dealer – as a local Tupperware distributor?

QUALIFICATIONS

First, look in the mirror and ask yourself, “Do I have the qualifications to be a Tupperware dealer?”

* Age: A Tupperware dealer has no forced retirement. You can begin when you turn 18, and continue as long as you are able to run your business. A Tupperware dealer can be young or old.
* Baby Boomers: This is an ideal business for Baby Boomers who want to earn extra RETIREMENT income. As a Tupperware dealer, you can establish your own Internet business, and let it work for you.
* Handicapped: Many who have handicaps can qualify as Tupperware dealers. Ask a Tupperware Consultant for advice.
* Gender: Not every “Tupperware lady” is a female. Men have also entered the market as Tupperware dealers. As you read on, you will learn why today’s Tupperware business is much more inviting to men.
* Personality: Are you a go-getter, cheerful, and positive – or laid back, glum and negative? It used to matter a lot! A Tupperware dealer had to be effervescent and out-going to host frequent parties. In today’s Tupperware, that is not essential.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A Tupperware dealer is expected to be active in the business.

* Sales Quotas: The company is not interested in keeping you on the payroll if your sales are slim. They will reinstate you for a small fee if you fail to meet your quota, but the norm is for each Tupperware dealer to average at least $250 in retail sales over every 4 month period.

Some websites claim that there are no quotas, but this does not seem to agree with other Tupperware information.

* Recruitment: Although recruitment is not required, it is encouraged. You will earn more if you recruit others to become Tupperware dealers.

STARTUP CAPITAL

You can become a Tupperware dealer on a proverbial shoestring. As of January 2007, the startup fee is $59.99.

TRAINING

A Tupperware dealer receives training and support via the Internet through web-based meetings. Tele-training is also available.

SALES AVENUES

Tupperware no longer requires that you hold home parties. You may use one or all of three sales avenues provided. In addition, the general policy is that Tupperware dealers may sell anywhere other than online auction sites.

* Parties: If you are inclined to hold home parties, you may, but you are not limited to them. Catalog parties, office parties, and individual sales are now part of a Tupperware dealer’s arsenal.
* Internet: Online parties and individual online sales can generate income day and night. The company provides Tupperware dealers with three levels of websites from which they may choose. The cost is $7.95 monthly.
* Retail Showcases: Also known as Mall Showcases, these are kiosks set up in malls. Typically operated by Tupperware dealers, kiosks sell products, and provide leads for parties or new recruits.

INCOME

A Tupperware dealer’s income is mainly in the form of commissions. You may also receive awards, bonuses, and discounts.

* Personal Sales: All retail purchases made through the individual Tupperware dealer earn a 25% commission. That includes sales items.
* Group Sales: If you recruit new Tupperware dealers, you will receive commissions on their sales as well.
* Awards: Tupperware dealers receive awards for building strong businesses. From gifts of Tupperware products to new cars and tropical vacations, awards spur many to set high goals.
* Bonuses: Tupperware dealers may qualify for two bonuses. When monthly sales reach $1000, a 5% bonus is paid. When monthly sales reach $3000, a 10% bonus is paid.
* Discounts: The Tupperware dealer may purchase “sample” items at a 35% discount. Discount purchases receive full retail price credit for your commission.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Tupperware dealers can build college funds for themselves, children, or grandchildren. They can turn part-time business into secondary income streams. As a Tupperware dealer, you have greater control of your time. You can spend more time with family and friends. A Tupperware dealer couple can build their business into a complete web-based enterprise.

  2. Hello My name is Kimberly, for generations I have always enjoyed your Tupperware products immensely . Through the years and the constant moving I have had to leave a lot of me behind along with my things. Now I am living in Springfield VT. Just recently moved here and I am hoping to start piecing things back together again. I think there will always be a need for your products because you have always stood by them . I think it would be great if I could learn how to sell Tupperware here and through my sights like Facebook and Tweeter. But how do I do it and how much will it cost me in total to get started, I am disabled and would rather work for a legitimate company than to find one that is not . Can you steer me in the right direction .? Thanks for your time and consideration ,.. Kimberly Bombria
