Teen Tupperware Party
You read that correctly. I made no mistake. “Teen Tupperware party” is exactly what I intended to write.
Why would anyone have a Tupperware party for teenagers? Teenagers don’t own homes. They often work hard to avoid putting away leftovers – unless, of course, they can put them away in their own stomachs. Many want nothing to do with cooking or a kitchen. So why schedule a teenagers’ Tupperware party?
Reasons for a Teen Tupperware Party
There may be no reason great enough for some teens. For others, however, a number of reasons would interest them in a Tupperware party.
Most teens love parties. The trick is to present party ideas in a way that will allow teens to accept them as their own. Drop hints, or write subtle notes to put the thought in their minds. If you are a Tupperware dealer, have your own teen or a teen you know brainstorm with you. Here, in random order, are half a dozen ideas you might subtly suggest for a teen Tupperware party.
1. House-warmings: If a teen’s family is moving into a new home, his or her friends could have a teen Tupperware party to “warm” the new home with good will in the form of cards and Tupperware orders.
2. Teachers’ Thank You: A beloved teacher may be retiring, going on sabbatical, or celebrating some other milestone. A teen Tupperware party is an opportunity for teenagers to show appreciation to the teacher in a concrete manner.
3. Mothers’ Gifts: Teens often wonder what gifts to give their mothers for Mothers’ Day or other holiday. Organize a teen Tupperware party and they can shop together for those gifts.
4. Friends’ Weddings: Many teenagers have friends who are getting married. Scheduling a teen Tupperware party gives them a reason for a party while letting them shop together for wedding gifts.
5. College-Bound: Teens going to college will have many uses for Tupperware products. A teen Tupperware party makes it easy for them to get Tupperware for microwaving snacks in dorm kitchens or storing things in dorm rooms.
6. Right Now Benefits: A teen Tupperware party can benefit teens from 13 through 19 right now. Lunch boxes, microwaveable dishes, and drink containers are all things teens want and will use. A teen Tupperware party lets them share the excitement and choose together.
More than Kitchen Tupperware
A teen Tupperware party can feature kitchen Tupperware products, but there are other products that teens will love for their own personal use.
Think of all the uses teens can find for Tupperware. What teen bedroom couldn’t use Tupperware storage? Rectangular “Modular Mates” can corral CD’s, DVD’s, personal grooming items, and more. Stacking canisters will keep track of pencils, pens, markers, high-lighters, sticky notes, paper clips, and other study supplies. Candy dishes and other containers keep snacks fresh and on-hand.
Helpful Tip
Give a group of teenagers a handful of Tupperware catalogs and challenge them to come up with creative uses for the products. By the time they finish, they will be ready to consider a teen Tupperware party.
