Tupperware Party with Helpful Summer Ideas

Expert AuthorYou’ve heard of a Tupperware party. Maybe you have attended one. This Tupperware party is different, though. This is a Tupperware party with helpful summer ideas.

Tupperware Party Refreshments

Summer is a time for picnics and barbecues. Theme your Tupperware party to picnics. Schedule the party/picnic outdoors, with casual dress. Plan your menu, and ask each guest to bring a dish, just as you might at any picnic. If you have enough guests, have two bring the same, but smaller portions. Here’s a sample menu from a U.S. Memorial Day picnic.

* Potato salad
* Cold fried chicken
* Deviled eggs
* Raw veggies with dip
* Baked Beans
* Dinner rolls
* Iced tea
* Cake

Tupperware Party Games

You won’t need games at an outdoor Tupperware party, since everyone will enjoy just being outdoors. However, you can break the ice with these.

1. Popcorn Relay: Divide Tupperware party guests into 2 teams. Mark a starting line at one end of your picnic area and another about 15 feet away. Place 24 Tupperware midgets on a table at the starting line - 12 behind each team. In the bottom of each midget, place a slip of paper with a number from 1 to 5. Place 2 Tupperware cereal bowls on a table at the second line. Fill each with popcorn kernels.

Players race, relay style, to the Tupperware popcorn bowls and get a single kernel on a spoon. They carry it back to the starting line, put it in one of their team’s midgets, and hand the spoon to the next player. Players must put into each midget the number of popcorn kernels noted on the paper in that midget. The team to finish first wins.

Note: If a popcorn kernel is dropped, the player must return to the bowl for a new one.

2. Picnic Plans: Tell only one person the secret before you begin: all answers must start with the same letter of the alphabet - C, for example. Do not tell other guests. The starter begins with the sentence, “I’m going on a picnic, and I’m going to take ___________.” The starter inserts a word that begins with the chosen letter. For example, “cookies”. The next player might say, “I’m going on a picnic, and I’m going to take cake.” Those who know the secret say, “Okay. You can take that to a picnic.” But suppose a player says something like: “I’m going on a picnic, and I’m going to take pickles.” Those who know the secret say, “No, you can’t take pickles.” Keep playing until everyone has discovered the secret.

Tupperware Party Demonstration

When it’s time for your demonstration, show guests Tupperware pieces with helpful summer ideas for picnics. Include containers that would transport their menu items well and serving products that would make their picnic table bright.
