Tupperware Hamburger Press
The Tupperware hamburger press and freezer set is one of the company’s more popular products. It seems to be so popular that it comes and goes. When we began this blog, it was not listed on the company’s order pages. Now it is back. Perhaps it has returned because the northern hemisphere is enjoying summer as we write. Backyard barbecues and picnics often call for hamburgers.
A Tupperware hamburger press and keeper set can help you prepare hamburgers with a near-perfect shape. Even a new bride, or teenagers at a camp, can present hamburgers that resemble the handiwork of a well-trained chef. All will be uniform in shape, thick or thin as you prefer. The Tupperware hamburger press avoids fights over who got the largest ‘burger!
Tupperware Hamburger Press Description
The Tupperware hamburger press itself is white, with a seal and handle whose color is described as crushed raspberry (red). The one-piece Tupperware hamburger press has an open handle that is easy to grasp. The hamburger ring is white, and holds up to 1/3 pound of uncooked, ground meat.
Tupperware Hamburger Keepers
Tupperware hamburger keepers are stackable containers identical in size to the Tupperware hamburger press. Each will hold 1/3 pound of uncooked, ground meat in the shape of a hamburger. Each has an airtight seal to keep frozen hamburgers fresh.
Using the Tupperware Hamburger Press and Keepers
The Tupperware hamburger press and keepers are easy to use. Simply follow these steps:
1. Measure the amount of meat you want in each hamburger patty.
2. Place the meat in the Tupperware hamburger press ring.
3. Position the handle atop the meat, and press firmly into the ring.
4. Remove the handle and turn the hamburger out into a Tupperware hamburger keeper.
5. Push your finger into the center of each hamburger to make a “finger-hole”, which will eliminate shrinking and let burgers cook evenly.
6. Seal the keeper and place it in the freezer.
Helpful Tips
If you are preparing for a large picnic, begin making burgers a week ahead. Once burgers in your Tupperware hamburger keepers are frozen, place them in a larger Tupperware Storage container and use the keepers for the next batch of hamburgers.
If you intend to use your hamburgers right away rather than freeze them, you need not use the Tupperware hamburger keepers. Simply remove your hamburgers from the Tupperware hamburger press, poke holes in each, and carry them to your grill.
